MEET STACY

Government should work for everyday people, not special interests or party insiders. That’s what drives Stacy Willoughby.

A Washington native who grew up living all over the world, Stacy has called the mountains above Lake Chelan home for almost a decade, where she lives with her husband, Rick, their two dogs, and seven chickens.

With more than 25 years working in financial services, Stacy has seen firsthand how issues like housing affordability and rising taxes impact everyday people across our communities. She’s running to bring that real-world perspective to Olympia, and to make sure we aren’t an afterthought.

Stacy doesn't just talk about community — she’s built it. She brings years of hands‑on leadership in Chelan County and beyond. Through her volunteer work including serving as the Board President of Chelan Valley Hope, and her role on the Chelan Chamber of Commerce Board, Stacy has earned the trust of her neighbors across the district.

She loves working with families, small business owners, and community partners to tackle the challenges from Wenatchee and Chelan to Monroe and into King and Snohomish Counties. Her goal is to improve lives across rural and mountain communities and the growing suburban areas.

Stacy knows the pace of life is different in the 12th, and her leadership reflects our values: hard work, fiscal responsibility, and common sense. She’s dedicated to bringing our perspective to Olympia and doing what it takes to let our voices be heard.

Stacy’s priorities are straightforward:

  • Expanding housing options that make sense for each community.

  • Ensuring tax fairness for rural families and small businesses.

  • Cutting through excessive building codes and permitting burdens.

  • Providing excellent care for kids and older adults.

  • Creating more pathways into the trades so young people can earn a good living without taking on student loan debt.

One of the main principles of democracy is that everyone in the community has an opportunity to be heard. Stacy believes there is strength in our diversity and there’s space for all values and perspectives in the 12th District.

Progress at our pace, on our terms.

Tell Stacy what matters to you, and she'll take it to Olympia.
